Our Mission
Our mission is to provide free, comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them achieve in school and in life. We accomplish this by providing at-risk youth the opportunity to participate in programs that include sports, educational, cultural, and community enrichment components.
“I just wanted to thank everyone at ASAS for what they do for students. I participated in The Inner-City Games as a child and still have a lot of fond memories. I'm happy children still have this opportunity and it's very rewarding to be able to give back as an instructor now.”
-Daniela Muneton Instructor at Wynn Elementary School
Our Program
When the dismissal bell rings at 34 Title-I schools in the Las Vegas Valley, our All-Stars make their way to their academic classes. A student struggling with his math homework gets support from a licensed teacher. She is able to check-in with him the following school day to see how he is doing. In another class, youth work in small groups together to finish an English assignment.
After getting their homework out of the way, youth are ready to go to to their enrichment class. A student in STEM is learns how to code and design her dream video game, while down the hall her friend plays the guitar for the first time. Applause roars from another classroom where students have mastered a dance routine.
On the weekend, a group of All-Stars connects their in-classroom learning about conserving public lands with a hike through Red Rock Canyon. Another busload of students can be seen on T-Mobile Arena’s jumbotron, jumping up and down in their orange All-Star shirts as they cheer on the Vegas Golden Knights.
All the while, our All-Stars are kept safe and are given the opportunity to develop skills, build mastery, and achieve in school and in life.

Starting as Greater Las Vegas Inner City Games in 1995 and becoming a chapter of After-School All-Stars in 2003, our services may have expanded but our mission to provide safe after-school experiences to youth has remained the same.

Get Involved
Every day there are 98,000 children in Nevada who lack a safe place to go after school. But thanks to you, youth can be safe and supported during those critical hours from 3 to 6 p.m.
There are a variety of ways you can support After-School All-Stars Las Vegas to help youth in need. Donate — just $50 pays for a month of program for one student. Give the gift of time — volunteers give our students new role models. Apply for a job — with over 500 staff serving our schools we need the help of professionals.
We believe that our mission can only be accomplished when we all work together and it’s only possible with the help of generous supporters like you.
