Katheryn Maulawin

Program Manager

Katheryn Maulawin (Katie) has been working as a Program Manager for After-School All-Stars since April 2023. She was born and raised in Monterey Bay, California. She just recently moved in 2022 to Henderson from the Bay Area to be closer to her family. Helping kids of all ages has always been her passion. After watching her Mom be a teacher for many years she knew that there was nothing greater than being an advocate in a child’s life. For College, Katie decided she wanted her main focus to be Early Childhood Education. She started teaching kids in 2012. Katie realized that the idea of working in a field where she can make a difference with children on daily was something very fulfilling to her. After many years of teaching all over California Katie realized she wanted to help kids on an even bigger scale. After her son joined After School All-Stars in 1st grade, Katie knew she wanted to be a part of the program. Katie believed in the vision of being able to create a safe place for all children. In Katie’s free time her favorite thing to do is hang out with her Husband, their two boys, and their dog. Katie enjoys going to the park, seeing movies, and trying new restaurants!
